Theme: 

 Based on the survey conducted by the World Health Organization, 83 countries do not fulfill the threshold requirement of 23 skilled health professionals per 10,000 people. The world will be lack of 12.9 million health care workers at 2035. Hence, it is essential to develop the emerging technology for health care to assist the health professionals. However, there are a lot of challenges such as the high accuracy diagnosis as well as the low cost and efficient implementations. This special session aims to call for the emerging technology to address these issues. 

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

1. Low power health care systems 
2. High accuracy automatic diagnosis systems 
3. Advanced signal processing for health care 
4. Emerging machine learning algorithms for health care 
5. Communications for health care systems 
6. IoT for health care
