Theme:

Studying the impact of Electric Vehicle (EV) in LV/MV distribution integration is of

paramount importance in the contemporary landscape of sustainable transportation and

energy systems. As the adoption of electric vehicles accelerates, understanding their

integration into existing power grids/distribution network becomes critical for ensuring a

seamless and efficient transition to a cleaner energy future. The significance lies in addressing

the intricate challenges posed by the simultaneous growth of EVs and the power grid,

including grid stability, load management, and the optimization of energy resources.

The aim of this special session is to bring together experts, researchers, and practitioners from

diverse backgrounds to discuss and analyse the impact of Electric Vehicle (EV) Grid Integration.

The session will explore the challenges and opportunities associated with the integration of

electric vehicles into the existing power grid, aiming to foster collaboration and knowledge

exchange in this rapidly evolving field.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Impact of EV integration on Power Quality in distribution and transmission network
  2. Impact of EV integration on Voltage and Frequency in distribution and transmission network
  3. Impact of G2V, V2G, V2V and V2X operations on the Distribution and Transmission Network
  4. Impact of large-scale EV integration on grid stability
  5. Innovations in smart charging technologies and their role in grid integration
  6. Case studies on successful implementation of smart charging solutions
  7. Techniques for optimizing energy usage and distribution in the context of EV grid integration
  8. Integration of renewable energy sources to support EV charging infrastructure
  9. Examination of existing policies and regulations related to EV grid integration
  10. Data security and privacy in EV charging networks
